仕事をしているとメールがいっぱい来ます。たまに多すぎて、重要なメールを見逃してしまうこともあります。しかし、この本に書いている『見える化』がちゃんとできていれば、そのミスを無くせそうです。
『見える化』とは、その名の通り見えるようにすることです。五感の中で、一番敏感で一番多用しているのは視覚です。なので、できるだけそこに情報が流れていくような仕組みを作ろうというのが『見える化』です。それだけ聞くと単純そうですが、『見える化』にもちょっとしたコツがあって、例えば『見える化』であって『見せる化』であってはならないとか、不要な情報に重要な情報が紛れないようにするとか。この本には、そんなことが書いてあります。
人間、ミスをしやすいし、失敗を報告するのは嫌がるもんだし、モチベーションは下がりやすいし、そんな人が誰しも持つ弱いところを補ってくれるのが『見える化』というシステムなのかなぁと、そう思いました。
僕は、モチベーションが下がりやすいので自分の成長の『見える化』をする仕組み、たとえば「〜ができるようになった」っていうのをリストにして積み上げていくとか、そんな風に活用しようと思います。
